CREDENTIALS EARNED
Related Technical Instruction hours (144 hours) will transfer if the pre-apprentice successfully completes the Pre-Apprenticeship Program and enrolls into the IEC Pennsylvania Apprenticeship Program.
HOW TO APPLY
Candidates interested in the Pre-Apprenticeship program should share their interest with their school’s guidance counselor or career readiness counselor. The staff or administrators from the educational institution should connect with the Apprenticeship Coordinator for registration paperwork to complete and submit by June 30th.
There is a tuition cost to register and complete the Pre-Apprenticeship Program. It is not required, but a desirable option if the potential candidate is able to complete a cooperative work experience with an IEC PA electrical contractor to gain on-the-job- knowledge in tandem with the coursework.
